Lampung Police Submit Case Files Phase One TIP Case To The Prosecutor's Office

Lampung regional police investigators from Sub-Directorate IV Renakta of the Lampung Police have transferred the case file for stage one of the criminal acts of trafficking in persons (TPPO) involving the victims of 24 NTB residents to the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office.

Dirreskrimum Polda Lampung Kombes Reynold P Hutagalung said his party had coordinated with the prosecutor's office to transfer the TIP file.

"Yes, today our investigators have transferred the TIP case file, at least 268 pages of files submitted by investigators," said Kombes Reynold, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 20.

"Previously, last Friday (16/6) the victims had been returned to NTB, but the police are still investigating the TIP case against 24 prospective illegal migrant workers from NTB," added Kombes Pol Reynold.

He said the investigation would continue. From the progress of the investigation, suspect D has a friend relationship with the owner of the house in Rajabasa Bandar Lampung when the Lampung Police Ditreskrimum team rescued 24 prospective migrant workers from NTB who were used to accommodate victims.

"The house in Rajabasa was not rented by the suspect because the perpetrator had a friend relationship with the owner of the house, unlike the one in Bogor, it was deliberately rented out by the owner," said Kombes Reynold.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Lampung Attorney General's Office, I Made Agus Putra Adyana, confirmed that he had received the delegation of the TIP case from Lampung Police investigators.

"We have received the delegation of stage one of the TIP case files, later they will be investigated first regarding the files submitted by the police," said I Made Agus Putra Adyana.

His party also said that there was one week to examine the case files that were transferred from the investigators from the Lampung Regional Police.

"We will examine the case file first. If it is declared complete, it can go directly to P21, but if it is not complete, we will give instructions to be completed," he added.
