JAKARTA - The families of victims of motorcycle confiscation and confinement questioned the follow-up to his report at the South Jakarta Metro Police. The reason is, since the case was reported in January 2023, until now it has not been completed. AKI, a teenage boy aged 15, he became a victim of a collision on Jalan Layang Non Tol (JLNT) Antasari, South Jakarta on Saturday, January 7. After the incident, AKI's attorney, Suryana and the victim's family reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police on Monday, January 9, with two reports, namely allegations of child abuse and alleged confiscation. Reports of alleged violence against the child were registered with the visum number 18/VER/I/Res South Jakarta. Meanwhile, reports of alleged robbery of motorbikes with the number LP/B/110/I/2023/SPKT/Pres Metro Police South Jakarta/Polda Metro Jaya. "We have reported the case but until now there has been no follow-up. The perpetrator should have committed a criminal act in a perfect way," said AKI attorney, Suryana to reporters, Wednesday, June 14.

Suryantara explained that at that time AKI was riding JLNT Antasari to collect visual content on his social media. However, a black car braked suddenly and soon another car behind it hit. "Then the victim and his motorbike were taken by them to a house in Lebak Bulus. The perpetrators also extorted Rp20 million in cash as collateral," he said. In the morning, the victim was finally allowed by the perpetrators, one of whom claimed to be a member of the police family to contact the family. Then the victim's aunt came to the location of the confinement and brought the victim home. "We from the victim's family are now urging the police to continue the case," he said. Until now there has been no follow-up from the police regarding the case.
