Sandiaga Uno Officially Joins PPP

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno has officially become a member of the United Development Party (PPP).

This was marked by the submission of a membership card (KTA) along with a PPP jacket from Plt General Chairperson of PPP Muhamad Mardiono to Sandiaga Uno at the PPP DPP office, Central Jakarta.

Previously, Sandiaga who arrived at the PPP DPP office was greeted by the Deputy Chairperson of the PPP DPP Amir Uskara, PPP DPP Secretary General Arwani Thomafi, PPP DPP Chair Achmad Baidowi and others.

They then shook hands with each other, then entered the PPP DPP Office to hold a meeting on the 3rd floor

"Bismillah," said Sandiaga when asked about his readiness to join PPP as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 14.

Previously, Acting Chairperson of the DPP United Development Party (PPP) Muhamad Mardiono revealed that Sandiaga had completed the introduction or inspection period of the party bearing the ka'bah logo.

"The agenda is today, media colleagues already know, so far Mr. Sandi has been undergoing suspicion at PPP, yes. So, this is the aspect that has been completed," said Mardiono.

For this reason, PPP will provide Sandiaga Uno with a membership card (KTA) as proof that he has graduated from the perspective held by PPP. This also proves that Sandiaga has officially become a PPP cadre.

"To mark the officiality, later it means that Pak Sandi has passed. We will give KTA to Mr. Sandi later, starting today, God willing, he will officially become a member of the PPP extended family," he said.
