JAKARTA - PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) completed the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) III today. There are 17 points of external recommendations produced, including winning Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.

"The PDI-P Working Meeting III is determined to implement the decision of the PDI-P General Chair on April 21, 2023, which appointed PDI-P cadre Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate," said PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani while reading external recommendations at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Thursday, June 8.

"And instruct all party cadres at every level to cooperate with all elements of society, political parties, and volunteers to win Ganjar Pranowo as President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024," he continued.

In addition, PDIP discussed vision, mission, and strategic agendas for Ganjar. There is a priority scale that must be carried out, including eradicating poverty, stunting, accelerating progress through mastery of science and technology (IPTEK) as well as research and innovation.

Not only that, Ganjar and his vice presidential candidates must be able to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in the country.

"The increase in the quality of Indonesia's human resources is the main requirement for the realization of a sovereign Indonesia in the political field, standing on its own feet in the economic field, and having a personality in the field of culture," he said.

Previously, PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri appointed Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate to be promoted by her party on April 21.

As for Ganjar's companion candidates, the party bearing the symbol of a white-nosed bull does not want to talk much. They even formed a team filled with PDIP DPP Chairs Puan Maharani and Prananda Prabowo.

This team is led directly by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri who will report regularly to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). In addition, later discussions that are increasingly narrowing will be discussed with parties that carry out political cooperation to support Ganjar.
