PPIH Make Sure No Indonesian Hajj Candidates Are Left Behind In Medina

JAKARTA - Hajj Organizing Officers (PPIH) ensure that no Indonesian Hajj candidates (calhaj) are left behind in Medina before continuing their journey to Makkah.

Saudi Arabia's special beer sector epala Ali PPIH Arouji Maswatu said his party had checked Indonesia's calhaj after taking waqat at Beer Ali or the Dzul Hulaifah Mosque.

"Just like last year, no congregations will be left behind, because the buses will not depart before the congregation is complete," he said in a statement, Thursday, June 1.

Aruji said there were 1,897 Indonesian calhajs who had moved from Medina to Makkah. Meanwhile, 2 Indonesian Hajj candidates were delayed to Makkah because they were receiving treatment at the King Fahid Madinah Hospital.

As soon as he got off the bus at Beer Ali, the congregation was directed to perform the sunnah prayer for two rakaats at the Prophet's Mosque. Then guided for the intention of ihram and for the elderly and those wearing wheelchairs, ihram's intention can be done on the bus.

Aruji admitted that the challenge faced at Beer Ali was that there were pilgrims who forgot the bus number, even though they had been reminded repeatedly before getting off the bus, there were still passengers who forgot.

As experienced by one of the Indonesian Hajj candidates, Ahmad, who forgot the bus number after the sunnah prayer at Beer Ali.

"What number is my bus," said Ahmad, a Solo embarkation candidate who contacted the committee to match the identity with the bus data he was traveling in.

Aruji guarantees that no congregation will be left behind in Ali's beer even though it is crowded.

Miqat makai is the limit for starting ihram Hajj or Umrah. For Madinah residents, waqat was taken at Beer Ali.

Indonesian pilgrims who have been in Medina for three days are considered Madinah residents, therefore taking waqat was taken at Ali's beer.

"After the intention of ihram, then there is a ban on ihram. Men should not wear head coverings and cover their feet like shoes. Meanwhile, women may wear socks or shoes," said Aruji.

Aruji added that scheduled for Friday, May 2, pilgrims from Medina will depart again from Medina from 08.00 Saudi Arabia until the afternoon as many as 15 groups.
