Class 4 Elementary School Student In Cipinang Becomes Victim Of Sexual Harassment Of Ciplak Market Traders

JAKARTA - M (10) a grade 4 elementary school (SD) student became a victim of sexual harassment at Ciplak Market, Jalan Pancawarga 1, South Cipinang Besar Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, May 30, afternoon. The incident occurred at around 12.30 WIB. From the statement of N, the victim's parents, the incident began when she and her little daughter were shopping at Ciplak Market. After the victim came home from school, the victim went with her mother to shop. According to N, due to the narrow access road shopping at a narrow market, N's position was in front of her daughter about 2 meters away. Then when her daughter passed by a middle-aged man (the perpetrator), the perpetrator immediately grabbed her daughter's butt several times. "Suddenly my son said, 'who is holding M's butt? Then who did I say son? We appointed him. We are about 3 meters away and he (the victim) immediately reported it to me," N said when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, May 30.

Then N asked his daughter again. "How do you hold him? Then he (the victim) practiced it on me. There were about 2 to 3 times," he said. Hearing his son's statement, N was angry and went to the perpetrator and reprimanded him. But the perpetrator answered in a tone that was considered trivial. "He answered accidentally. How come he didn't do it on purpose but held his buttocks more than once. He said he didn't do it on purpose, he said his sister wanted to pass. Then he reasoned that. But my son shouted when the perpetrator did not admit, my son immediately cried and chased him," he explained. For further processing, the perpetrator was then taken to the Ciplak Market security post for data collection by the security forces. From his identity, the perpetrator with the initials P (45) Pondok Gede resident. Even though he had been arrested, the perpetrator still dodged while begging the victim's parents not to be processed to the police station. "But my son was still crying in fear and shaking. I plan to make a report to the Police," said N.
