A total of 32 monks who performed the Thudong ritual, walked from Thailand to Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Central Java, carrying out the Pinindapa tradition at Vihara Shima 2500 Buddha Jayanti in Semarang.

The monks arrived in Semarang on Sunday (28/5) and held a number of ceremonies, before finally spending the night at Vihara Adi Dharma.

The monks walked to Vihara Shima via a route in the Gunungpati area, Semarang City, to avoid congestion on the main Semarang-Solo route.
