Persecution Of Junior High School Students To Stab Wounds, 4 Students In Sukabumi Arrested

SUKABUMI - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the Gunungpuyuh Police, Sukabumi City Resort, arrested four children in Sukabumi City, West Java, who were suspected of being the perpetrators of the persecution at a duel between junior high school students.

"The four students who are children are in conflict with the law (ABH) of three are still in junior high school and one is a vocational school student," said Gunungpuyuh Police Chief AKP Maulana Arif as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 29.

According to Maulana, the arrests of the four ABHs were after his party received a report of a case of alleged abuse on Jalan Brawijaya, Sriwedari Village, Gunungpuyuh District, Sukabumi City on Friday, May 26 at around 22.00 WIB.

The report was immediately developed by the Gunungpuyuh Police Criminal Investigation Unit by collecting evidence and asking for information from a number of witnesses including the victim who was currently undergoing treatment at R Syamsudin SH Hospital, Sukabumi City due to stab wounds to the chest and left palm.

It didn't take long for the police to finally catch these ABHs in their respective homes on Sunday. Not only did they arrest the alleged perpetrators, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of a sharp sickle with a length of 85 cm, a motorcycle and three smartphones.

According to information gathered from the police, the persecution began when one of the ABHs with the initials A (Junior high school students) received a direct message or personal Instagram message from the victim (Junior high school students) for a duel.

Getting these challenges, A then asked his three colleagues for help to meet the victim. Finally, it was agreed that the duel would be held in front of an orphanage located on Jalan Brawijaya, Sriwedari Village.

After dealing with each other A, who used a long sickle, immediately attacked and hit the victim's chest and left palm. Two A colleagues who saw the victim were helpless immediately separated the duel and took the victim to RSUD R Syamsudin SH for treatment.

"The four ABHs are still undergoing intensive examination by investigators from the Gunungpuyuh Police Criminal Investigation Unit. From their statement, this act of persecution was carried out because the victim first challenged to a duel," he added.

Maulana said his staff was still developing this case and because all the alleged perpetrators were underage, of course in handling this case his party would coordinate with the correctional center (bapas).
