JAKARTA - A young man with the initials GR (25) was arrested by the Serang Police Narcotics Unit for being caught distributing Koplo pills.
A man from Serdang Village, Serang District, was arrested with evidence of 700 tramadol and hexymer pills.
Serang Police Chief AKBP Yudha Satria said suspect GR was arrested on Jalan Raya Ciruas-Petir, Walantaka District, Serang City.
"Officers cover buyers or disguise themselves as buyers. The suspected Narcotics Unit managed to secure more than 700 tramadol and hexymer pills found in small bags," said AKBP Yudha, Sunday, May 28.

Armed with this information, the Narcotics Satres personnel then set a strategy by undercovering buyers by ordering drugs from GR suspects.
After the agreement was reached, the undercover officers immediately arrested the suspect.
"From the hands of the suspect GR, the officers managed to secure 692 hexymer pills and 95 tramadol pills. In addition to drugs, Rp. 70,000 in cash, cellphones and small bags were also secured," he said.
The suspect and the evidence were then taken to the Serang Police Headquarters for examination.
Meanwhile, according to the suspect GR's confession, the perpetrator admitted that he had been in the drug business for one month.
