Kompas Research And Development Holds Simulation Of 3 Presidential Candidates, As A Result, Ganjar 40 Percent And Prabowo 36.8 Percent

JAKARTA - Litbang Kompas has again released the results of the latest survey related to the electability of the presidential candidate (candidate) for the 2024 presidential election. In the simulation of three presidential candidates, Ganjar Pranowo managed to outperform Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan.

Based on the simulation results of three presidential candidates conducted by Litbang Kompas, Ganjar Pranowo, the candidate from the PDI-P, won 40 percent electability.

Prabowo Subianto occupies the second position with an electability of 36.8 percent. Anies Baswedan is in third position with an electability of 23.3 percent.

Although Ganjar Pranowo excels in the simulation of three presidential candidates in May 2023, there has actually been a decrease in the electability figure obtained.

In January 2023, Ganjar Pranowo achieved 44.2 percent electability, but this figure fell to 40 percent in May 2023.

Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto experienced an increase in his electability based on the simulation results of three presidential candidates in May 2023. Prabowo managed to achieve an electability of 36.8 percent, an increase from the 29.1 percent obtained in January 2023.

Anies Baswedan also experienced a decrease in electability in the simulation of three presidential candidates in May 2023. He achieved 23.2% electability, down from 26.8% obtained in January 2023.

The Kompas Research and Development Survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews and took place from April 29 to May 10, 2023. A total of 1,200 respondents were randomly selected using the multilevel systematic stabbing method in 38 provinces.

The survey method used by Litbang Kompas has a confidence level of 95%. Under the conditions of simple random sampling, the margin of error for this survey is around +- 2.83%.
