The panel of judges at the Medan District Court on Tuesday sentenced the two defendants to 4 years and 6 months in prison for the case of selling 48,000 illegal cigarettes.

"In addition, the defendant Indra Gunawan alias Igun and the defendant Syafii alias Pii (separate files) were fined Rp. 149,207,800.00. If they cannot pay, they will be replaced with 6 months in prison," said Chief Judge Immanuel Tarigan at the Medan District Court.
