JAYAPURA - As many as four PT Inti Bangun Sejahtera (IBS) BTS project workers who were victims of being taken hostage by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) have been evacuated from the Okbab district to Oksibil, Gunung Bintang Regency.

According to Bastomi, the repatriation of the four PT IBS employees who were victims of hostage-taking and abuse was helped thanks to the role of the local government and the local community.

As for the four employees who were evacuated, namely on behalf of Asmar and Feryan Erlangga who were injured by sharp objects but are still conscious and brothers Peas Kulka and Senus Lepitalem are in good condition.

After being evacuated to a safe place, the four victims are currently at the Oksibil Hospital to receive further medical treatment.

"We will also continue to increase monitoring related to the security and order situation in all areas of Gunung Bintang Regency to prevent something like this from happening," said Bastomi.
