Hanura Ensures Wiranto's Name To PPP And Gerindra Is Not A Cadre

JAKARTA - The Hanura Party has confirmed that the 100 potential legislative candidates offered by former chairman Hanura Wiranto are not party cadres who are now chaired by Oesman Sapta Odang (Oso). Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Hanura Party, Benny Rhamdani, assessed that the handover of Hanura cadres' names to PPP and Gerindra was only a mere claim.

"We don't know who Wiranto offered PPP and Gerindra Party. If they are referred to as Hanura Party cadres, do they have a Hanura Party Membership Card (KTA) signed by Mr. OSO?," said Benny to reporters, Tuesday, May 2. Benny considers that Wiranto's political move is just a joke aimed at disrupting and destroying the solidity of the Hanura Party ahead of the 2024 election. "What Wiranto did was done was a motive for finding a political stage ahead of the election and entertainment in old days. This is an election joke, Wiranto's way of style, "he said. Nevertheless, Benny believes, Wiranto's attitude will not have an impact on the Hanura Party. Because, he said, all cadres have understood Wiranto's quality and track record. He ensured that the management and cadres of the Hanura Party were solid under the leadership of OSO until now.

"I make sure there are no Hanura Party cadres who jumped to other parties. What Wiranto did had no effect on Hanura because all party administrators and cadres from the central to the solid area to face the 2024 election," said Benny.

Sebelumnya, Mantan ketua umum Partai Hati Nurani Rakyat (Hanura) Wiranto menyerahkan lebih dari 100 nama eks kader Partai Hanura untuk menjadi kader Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) yang dapat diajukan menjadi bakal calon legislatif pada Pemilu 2024.

"Approximately 100 more that I think have the potential to continue to fight in politics. Then, I chatted and it turned out that his choice fell in the United Development Party," Wiranto said during his visit at the PPP DPP Office, Central Jakarta, Monday, May 1.

Wiranto explained that he did not use the military method at all regarding the transfer of hundreds of former Hanura Party cadres. Instead, he added, the transfer was based on the political choices of each cadre.

"Today it turns out that there are indeed many (ex-Kadres of the Hanura Party) who chose PPP as the new home of struggle," said Wiranto.
