Wiranto Leave More Than 100 Names Of Ex-Hanura Cadres To Become PPP Candidates For The 2024 General Election

JAKARTA - The former chairman of the People's Conscience Party (Hanura) Wiranto handed over more than 100 names of former Hanura Party cadres to become cadres of the United Development Party (PPP) who can be proposed as legislative candidates in the 2024 General Election. "Approximately more than 100 that I consider have the potential to continue fighting in politics. Wiranto explained that he did not use the military method at all regarding the transfer of hundreds of former Cadres of the Hanura Party. Bahkan, menerima dengan tangan terbuka agar mereka dapat bergabung dalam perjuangan Partai Persatuan Pembangunan," ucap mantan Panglima TNI itu.Sebelumnya, KPU mengumumkan pendaftaran bakal caleg DPR RI, DPD RI, DPRD provinsi, serta DPRD kabupaten dan kota untuk Pemilu 2024 berlangsung pada 1-14 Mei 2023.Pendaftaran bakal calon anggota DPR RI oleh parpol dan bakal calon anggota DPD RI dilakukan di Kantor KPU RI di Jakarta; sedangkan pendaftaranbakal calon anggota DPRD provinsi dilakukan di kantor KPU provinsi masing-masing. Demikian juga untuk bakal calon anggota DPRD kabupaten dan kota, pendaftarannya digelar di KPU kabupaten dan kota masing-masing.Pendaftaran bakal calon anggota DPD RI hanya bisa dilakukan oleh 700 bakal calon yang telah dinyatakan memenuhi syarat minimal dukungan pemilih dan sebaran untuk mengikuti Pemilu 2024.
