Apart From PPP, PDIP Will Meet Other Parties That Support Ganjar Pranowo In The 2024 Presidential Election

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri would receive a visit from the United Development Party (PPP) in the near future.

This step was taken to discuss political cooperation after supporting Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate (candidate).

"Because we have announced Pak Ganjar Pranowo's support in the next few days we will receive PPP, received by Mrs. Mega," Hasto told reporters at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Thursday, April 27.

After PPP, PDIP will also hold a meeting with the Hanura Party which has provided support for Ganjar. "We will complete this later, well, so that everything goes organically," said Hasto.

Furthermore, Hasto also spoke up regarding the request of PPP so that his cadres could become Ganjar's partner. According to him, PDIP is currently not in a hurry to determine the figure of the companion to the Governor of Central Java in the 2024 presidential election.

They are currently more focused on formulating political cooperation. "If you look at the 2014-2019 experience, political cooperation will first be prioritized," he said.

Even so, the request of the party made by Mardiono will be accommodated first by PDIP. Moreover, this party bearing the Kaaba symbol has similarities in history and views.

However, Hasto did not want to talk long about the Ganjar pair. He said that all names and aspirations in the public would be narrowed down and then discussed with other parties.

"After that, it's narrowed, then dynamically we'll look into it," he concluded.
