PDI-P Will Announce The Advanced Stage After Determining Ganjar Pranowo As A Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto said that his party would reveal the advanced stage, Monday, April 24, after appointing Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo as a candidate for president (candidate). "So, later on Monday we will convey a statement related to further stages after (bakal) the presidential candidate was announced," Hasto told reporters when met at the residence of PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Saturday, April 22. Megawati has also given an internal direction to the party to focus on expressing gratitude for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1444 H on Saturday. "So, with regard to presidential and vice presidential candidates, consolidation, we will only be able to answer after the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, for two days," he added. Megawati specifically celebrates Eid al-Fitr with her family and friends. "So, I apologize for not doing anopenhouse, but what Mrs. Megawati Sokarnoputri said yesterday, to all Indonesian people, by saying Eid al-Fitr, by announcing Ganjar Pranowo, is the most appropriate thing," he explained.
