Ministry Of Religion: Hilal 1 Syawal 1444 Has Not Been Seen In Belitung

BELITUNG - The office of the Ministry of Religion of Belitung Regency, Bangka Islands Province, said the hilal 1 Syawal 1444 H was not visible from the monitoring point in the Tanjung Pendam beach tourist area, Thursday, April 20.

"Hilal has not been seen, it has only appeared to be one degree," said Head of the Belitung Regency Ministry of Religion Office, Masdar Nawawi, quoted by ANTARA Thursday, April 20.

According to him, rukyatul hilal or observations of the moon children from Tanjung Pendam beach, Belitung hilal have not been seen.

The Tanjung Pendam beach tourist area is one of 124 locations for monitoring the hilal 1 Syawal 1444 Hijri in Indonesia.

He emphasized that the hilal was not seen not because of the bad weather factor but was not yet visible or invisible.

"Hilal is not blocked by clouds, but it is not yet visible," he said.

His party also monitors the hilal or children in 1st month Syawal 1444 Hijri through the application.

"In our application, the hilal has not been seen," he said.

He explained that the hilal is likely to look bigger on Saturday, April 22.

"If on Saturday tomorrow it is possible that the hilal could look bigger," he said.

Masdar said the results of the monitoring of Rukyatul Hilal 1 Syawal 1444 Hijriah would be reported to the Central Government through the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

"As a result, we will report that the hilal has not been seen from the Tanjung Pendam beach, Belitung," he said.

He appealed to the public to look forward to the results of the government's isbat session regarding the syawal 1444 Hijri determination.

According to him, if there are differences related to the determination of 1 Syawal 1444 Hijri, it is hoped that the community can respect each other.

"We hope that the public can respect each other if there is a difference later because the difference is always open because the method or method is also different, there are reckoning and rukyat," he said.
