JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 9,904 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 245 new positive cases of COVID-19. The province with the most new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 202 cases and a total of 1,547,010 cases. Followed by West Java which has 69 new cases with a total of 1,239,012 cases. East Java has 43 new cases and a total of 639,128 cases. Banten has 32 new cases and a total of 367,475 cases. The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 50 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 23 recovered cases, East Java with an increase of 21 recovered cases, and DI Yogyakarta with an additional 16 recovered cases. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 115,962,831. The positive results per number of people examined or a positivity rate of people this week are 3.85 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 599 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
