Mendes PDTT Village RPL Students Hope To Complete The Study Soon, This Is The Goal

JAKARTA - Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Mendes PDTT) Abdul Halim Iskandar hopes that the Village Lampau Learning Recognition Program (RPL) can encourage village progress. Therefore, he asked RPL students to immediately complete the study.

"Kemendes PDTT is committed to helping, providing data to providing assistance so that Village RPL students pass on time, quickly re-implication the theoretical knowledge gained on campus for the sake of the economic revival of residents, improving service quality in villages, modernizing and digitizing Village BUM management for village progress," said Mendes PDTT in a public lecture commemorating the Village RPL which was followed online in Jakarta, last weekend.

In the commemoration of the Village RPL which was held in Bojonegoro, East Java, Mendes PDTT added, the work of Village RPL students has been awaited by the village to provide benefits in development.

"Immediately graduated, the villagers were waiting for your work," said Gus Halim, as he is usually called as quoted from Antara.

He stated that the Village RPL program had been running for two semesters at the Surabaya State University (Unesa) and Yogyakarta State University (UNY).

To date, 997 students consist of Village Heads, Village Apparatus, Village Consultative Body Members, Village BUM Managers, Professional Assistance Personnel, and Village Community Empowerment Activists are preparing to graduate through their final duties.

"The key is, do it, enjoy the process. Remember, a good final task is the final task," said Abdul Halim Iskandar.

On that occasion, Mendes PDTT also inaugurated the launch of the Pascasarjana Village RPL program.

In implementing the program, the Bojonegoro and Blora District Governments are the parties who provide Village RPL scholarships. Meanwhile, universities involved in the Pascasarjana Village RPL are Sebelas Maret University (UNS) and Universitas Brawijaya (UB).

Mendes PDTT said Bojonegoro is the first district in the world to welcome the Village RPL program in 2022.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Bojonegoro Anna Mu'awwanah believes that the Village RPL is an investment space that will not be in vain.

"We continue to intensify the scholarships. One village is 10 undergraduates. This is to accelerate the growth of human resources. I want young people in Bojonegoro who take part in village development to be more enthusiastic about learning," he said.
