JAKARTA - The condition of a grocery shop on Jalan Koramil in the Tanah Merah area, Koja, North Jakarta, is much different than before the fire at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, Friday (3/3) evening.

The building beside Jalan Mandiri VII RT 012/RW 09 is now destroyed and leveled to the ground. The paint was all peeled off.

Joint evacuation officers came in a hearse from the North Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Headquarters to the location to evacuate the bodies of the residents of the grocery stall.

If traced from Google Maps with the time set before the explosion, the grocery shop building was still full of merchandise. But on March 4, 2023, the conditions were alarming.

When found on Saturday morning, around 06.45 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) by PMI officers, a body was found under the ruins of the stall building in one of the stall rooms.

Officers evacuated and took the body by ambulance to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital in East Jakarta for identification.
