Bawaslu Investigate Supporters Of Central Java DPD Candidates With ASN Status

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Central Java Province (Central Java) is following up on complaints from the public regarding the support of a candidate for a candidate for DPD member with the status of a state civil servant (ASN).

"After coordinating with the Central Java Provincial KPU, we stated that the support in question did not meet the requirements," said Central Java Province Bawaslu member Rofiudin in Semarang, Central Java, Thursday, February 2, as reported by Antara.

He revealed that this was one of the points from the supervision submitted at the Open Pleno Meeting of the Recapitulation of Faktual Verification Results for the First Stage of Support Requirements for DPD Candidates for Members held by the Central Java Provincial KPU.

The Bawaslu of Central Java Province is here to supervise and ensure that the plenary meeting is held in accordance with the provisions.

In the plenary meeting, of the 11 candidates for DPD members, seven candidates were declared eligible (MS), while the other four candidates for DPD were declared ineligible (BMS).

This is in accordance with the results of the first phase of factual verification carried out by the Central Java Provincial KPU and its staff.

"For prospective DPD candidates who have not met the requirements, they are given the opportunity to submit terms of repair support," he said.

The seven candidates for DPD members who have been declared eligible are Abdul Kholik, Bambang Sutrisno, Casytha Arriwi Kathmandu, Denty Widi Eka Pratiwi, Kodirin, Lamaatus Shobah Dimyati Rois, and Muhdi.

Meanwhile, the four candidates for DPD members who have not met the requirements are Agus Mujiyanto with the number of improvements in the terms of support that must be submitted by 3,607 voters, Ahmad Baligh Mu'aidi with the number of improvements in the support requirements that must be submitted by 2,965 voters, Joko Dalmadyo with the condition that 1,121 voters must submit, and Taj Yasin Maimoen with the condition that improvement support must be submitted as many as 668 voters.
