YOGYAKARTA Profile Viktor Laiskodat received attention from the public because he implemented a policy in the form of school activities entering at 05.00 WITA. This policy was implemented specifically in High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK) in NTT.

Viktor Laiskodat is a politician born in West Kupang, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, on February 17, 1965. He spent his childhood until his youth in Kupang. Even elementary to high school education was pursued in Kupang City.

Moving on to college, Viktor chose to continue his undergraduate education at the Indonesian Law College (STHI) by majoring in Law. After graduating, Viktor started his career in the field of law, including establishing a legal aid institution under the name Viktor B. Laiskodat Law Firm.

Viktor also obtained a master's degree and received a Master's degree in Development Studies from Satya Wacana Salatiga Christian University. After that he continued his Doctoral Development Study at Satya Wacana Salatiga Christian University.

The political career of Julie Sutrisno Laiskodat's husband started with the Golkar Party. In this party he managed to sit in Senayan. He became a resulator from 2004 to 2009.

Golkar is not the only place Viktor has built a political career. At the age of 45 he decided to move from Golkar to NasDem. In the party created by Surya Paloh, his career is getting more brilliant. He even sits as Chairman of the Agriculture and Maritime Affairs Division of the Nasdem Party DPP.

While in the NasDem Party, Viktor succeeded in occupying the seat of a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives with the East Nusa Tenggara II electoral district for the 2014-2019 period. However, his term of office in the Indonesian House of Representatives has not ended, Viktor decided to resign. In 2018 Viktor decided to run as a candidate for Governor of East Nusa Tenggara Province.

In the 2018 NTT Pilkada, there were two members of the Indonesian House of Representatives who ran for office, namely Beny Kabur Harman and Viktor Laiskodat. However, the pair Viktor Laiskodat and Josef A. Naesoi succeeded in becoming elected Governor and Deputy Governor of NTT for the 2018 '2023 term.

In the last year of Viktor Laiskodat's tenure as the governor of NTT, he actually received the spotlight. He wants schools to enter starting at 05.00 WITA on the grounds that NTT can create superior students and schools. He also has the ambition of one or two schools from his area to be included in 200 national-seeded schools.

The policy of entering school at 5 am in NTT has not been officially implemented, aka just a trial period. The policy will be tested in 10 schools consisting of 5 high schools, namely SMA 1, SMA 2, SMA 3, SMA 5, and SMA 6. In addition, the policy is tested at 5 SMK 1, SMK 2, SMK 3, and SMK 4 in Kupang City.
