SALATIGA Heri (61), an uncle in Salatiga, Central Java, was arrested for the crime of sexual abuse of minors. Based on reports received, Heri committed the depraved act in the living room of his house in Sidorejo, Salatiga, Central Java. The victim is the nephew of the perpetrator.

The disclosure of this case began when the victim's mother, DIS (40) received complaints from her child who felt pain in the breast when he was bathed. The mother, who was suspicious, immediately urged her child to admit what was really going on.

After being urged, the victim finally admitted that she was molested by her uncle, Heri. Not accepting that her baby was a victim of sexual harassment, DIS finally reported Heri to the Salatiga Police.

The report was received by the Salatiga Police with the number LP/B/09/II/2023/SPKT/RES.SALATIGA/JATENG REGIONAL POLICE. Then the police officers also conducted an investigation to uncover the case.

A number of witnesses have been questioned by officers. Furthermore, the Satreskrim Polres Salatiga secured Heri and was taken to the Satreskrim Office of the Salatiga Police for further investigation.

The officers also secured a number of evidences in the form of a pink t-shirt belonging to the victim, black trousers, a gray t-shirt, and a white shorts.

It was revealed that Heri committed the obscenity on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at around 13.00 WIB, in the living room of his house.

The report said Heri's mode of action was by luring the victim with Rp1,000 in cash and promised to take him for a walk.

For his actions, Heri was charged with Article 76 E in conjunction with Article 82 of Law No. 17 of 2016.
