SOLOK - The City Government (Pemkot) of Solok, West Sumatra distributed 30 kilograms of rice assistance to hundreds of poor families or families as an effort to accelerate poverty alleviation in the area.

Deputy Mayor (Wawako) Solok Ramadhani Kirana Putra said the assistance was handed over in response to the results of the Coordination Meeting with the Minister of Home Affairs last Friday regarding the Targeting of the Acceleration of the Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE).

The 30 kilograms of rice assistance was symbolically given to residents registered in P3KE, located in Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sikarah District, Solok City.

The Solok City Government provided assistance as much as 30 kilograms of rice per family for the poorest category with a total of 359 families according to the Desil I P3KE data.

Furthermore, it will prioritize 180 families who fall into the first category of P3KE in Solok City.
