Although Bharada E's Sentence Was Only 1 Year And 6 Months, The Judge Still Had Aggravating Considerations

JAKARTA - Defendant Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison in the premeditated murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J.

Behind this light decision, the panel of judges still had aggravating considerations, namely, not respecting the intimate relationship with the victim.

"The thing that was aggravating was that the defendant's close relationship with the victim was not valued, so in the end, the victim Yosua died," said Chief Judge Wahyu Iman Santoso during a hearing at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, February 15.

Meanwhile, for mitigating matters, the judge has many considerations. Some of them, Bharada E, were witnesses to cooperating perpetrators.

Then, Bharada E also behaved politely during the trial, has never been convicted, and is still young so it is hoped that he will be able to improve in the future.

"The defendant regretted his actions and promised not to regret his actions anymore, the family of the victim Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat has forgiven the defendant's actions," said Judge Wahyu.

Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E was found guilty and involved in a series of premeditated murder cases against Yosua alias Brigadier J. Adjutant Ferdy Sambo was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison.

In the verdict, Bharada E's actions or actions in the series of premeditated murder cases are believed to have violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.

"Sentenced a sentence against the defendant with imprisonment for 1 year and 6 months," said Chief Judge Wahyu.
