Commotion At Building Material Store In Ciledug Area, Police Deny Perpetrators Brought Sharp Weapons

TANGERANG - A viral video on social media shows a commotion between youths in the Pasar Lembang area, Ciledug, Tangerang city. In the video uploaded to the @Info_Ciledug account, you can see a man wearing red clothes carrying a wooden block to attack the man inside the building shop.

Contacted separately by the Ciledug Police Chief, Kompol Noor Maghantara confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Friday, February 10, in the afternoon.

He added that the weapons used by the two men were not sharp objects, but wood. However, as a result of the incident, the glass in the shop building was broken, allegedly by the man in the red shirt.

"It's not a gun, it's just wood. It's just a block of wood. It's a building shop. The perpetrators are still being chased,” Noor confirmed, Friday, February 10.

When asked about the chronology and cause of the commotion, Noor admitted that he could not convey. Because the case is still being investigated.

"(Chronological and cause-ed) are still being investigated," he concluded.
