Not only Susi Air Pilots And Passengers, KKB Leadership Egianus Kogoya Hostages 15 Health Center Building Workers In Paro

JAKARTA - As many as 15 construction workers working on the construction of a health centre in Paro, Nduga Regency, are suspected of being held hostage by the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya.

"Indeed there is a report that 15 workers who are building the Paro health centre are being held hostage by the KKB. The report is still being investigated to ensure the truth", said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police, Commissioner Ignatius Benny, to ANTARA on Tuesday, February 7 evening.

Admittedly, the case was revealed from a report by the Regent of Kenyam to the Head of the Nduga Police, last Saturday, February 4. However, it is difficult to confirm because there are no security forces in the area.

"The case is still being investigated because from the report the 15 workers were suspected by the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya as intelligence agents and that is what is always disclosed even though in reality they are indeed employees or construction workers and are currently being reported to be taken to Mapnduma. The same thing was also stated by Egianus when he attacked employees PT Istaka Karya in 2018 which killed 28 people", explained Benny.

Meanwhile, regarding the New Zealand pilot Susi Air, Benny admitted that there had been no progress. "We cannot yet confirm the condition of Susi Air pilot Philip Merthens and his five passengers."

The five passengers on Susi Air's plane were Demanus Gwijangge, Minda Gwijangge, Pelenus Gwijangge, Meita Gwijangge and Wetina W.
