JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya Ditreskrimum explained that Angela Hindriari was killed by suspect Ecky Listianto (34) on June 25 2019. And only two months later Angela Hindriari's body was mutilated.

Angela Hindriari was killed at the Taman Rasuna Tower Apartment 1/33/A by strangulation. Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi explained, after being killed, Angela's body was left in the apartment for one month.

So that there is no smell of carrion, Ecky Listianto uses coffee, opens the bathroom door and turns on the air conditioner and fan so that the smell does not spread throughout the apartment building.

In August 2019, Ecky Listianto returned to the apartment and bought a hacksaw (to mutilate corpses) and a paint stripper (to clean dirty floors).

"MEL mutilated the victim into seven parts within a week," said Hengki in his statement, Monday, February 6, reported by Antara.

Ecky Listianto divided Angela's body into three different locations.

The first place was at the Taman Rasuna Tower Apartment 1/33/A in August 2019, then the second place was in Ciketing Asemjaya Village, Mustikajaya, Bekasi City on April 5 2020.

"The third place was moved to Jalan Serma Achin Kampung Buaran, RT 01/02 No. 52, Lambangsari Village, Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency, West Java in June 2021, which is the location where the bodies were found," said Hengki.
