TANGERANG - A stepfather with the initials A (38) is involved in the crime of rape of his underage stepdaughter. The Head of the Kresek Police, AKP Sri Raharja, said the incident occurred in the Kresek area, Tangerang Regency, last Saturday, January 24.

"The perpetrator is the stepfather of the victim, a daughter who is still in school," Sri said in her statement, Friday, February 3.

The incident began when the perpetrator entered the victim's room by breaking down the door. At the time of the incident, the victim's mother was asleep.

Then, A woke the victim and asked her to have sex. The perpetrator also threatened and committed violence against the victim.

"The perpetrator is threatened by the victim, if you don't want to, I won't use the motorbike you're using, I won't pay it," Sri said, imitating the perpetrator's voice.

Then the victim replied with a "don't want to, after the words were made, the reported finally forced her to have sex with the victim after the words were made. Finally, the reported forced her to have sex with the victim once. Then the perpetrator came out of the victim's room," he continued.

Then, the perpetrator entered the victim's room again on Monday, January 2, at 01.00 WIB. At that time, the victim was still in the room, but was awakened by asking for sex.

"The victim refused the invitation from the reported party, finally the reported only felt the whole body and kissed the victim's cheek, after touching the whole body and kissing the victim's cheek, then the reported came out of the victim's room," he said.

The act of rape and obscenity was finally exposed when the witness, a witness's friend, came to the victim's house. At that time, he looked at the victim's suspicions.

"Invoking the victim to tell what happened, after that the victim told that she had been raped by her stepfather," he explained.

Based on this information, the witness reported A to the Kresek Police, for further action. The police, who got the report, immediately moved to arrest the perpetrator.

The police managed to arrest suspect A shortly after the report was made. The perpetrators must be held accountable for their actions under Article 81 and/or Article 82 of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, which carries a threat of 15 years in prison.
