Ganjar Said, Megawati Is A Drug From The Rindu Kader PDIP In Central Java

The presence of the 5th President, Megawati Soekarnoputri, at the inauguration of the Mayor of Semarang Hevearita G. Rahayu, became a longing drug for PDI-P cadres in Central Java.

This was conveyed by Governor Ganjar Pranowo, after escorting the Chairperson of the PDI-P, Megawati Soekarnoputri back to Jakarta at Airlanumad A. Yani Semarang. Ganjar said that the inauguration at the Gradhika Bhakti Praja Building was special with Megawati's presence.

"It's not just the inauguration, but the moment is special because it feels like this is the first time there is an event (in Central Java) where mothers (Megawati Soekarnoputri) can attend by involving many people," said Ganjar, Monday, January 30.

The former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives said Megawati's presence was treating the longing of cadres, especially in Central Java. It can be seen from the enthusiasm of government leaders in Central Java, including party sympathizers who attended.

"So the atmosphere of longing is very much felt. So regional heads of party leaders at the regional level, DPRD, all of them were present, and I think everyone is happy because the medicine miss can meet the general chairman," he said.

Ganjar said Megawati was very concerned about women's issues. So the inauguration of Mbak Ita as Mayor of Semarang became a concern for the daughter of the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno.

The two-term Central Java Governor revealed his brief chat with Megawati at the moment of the inauguration. Several messages were conveyed by Megawati, starting from reducing stunting to handling trafficking.

"So, in a short chat with me and my mother, while waiting for them to shake hands, there was homework, stunting, poverty, trafficking, the mother was quite high. So with the issue of women who have feelings, friends of regional heads must be aware of that," he said.

Meanwhile, Megawati Soekarnoputri through the Secretary General of the PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto said that the presence of the PDIP General Chair was indeed special. According to her, Megawati knew Mbak Ita well, the nickname of the Mayor of Semarang.

Also accompanying Megawati, was the Secretary General of the PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto.
