JAKARTA - Chairman of the Gerindra Party Honorary Council, Habiburokhman, is grateful for the results of the latest survey released by the National Survey Institute (LSN).
The survey places the electability of its General Chair, Prabowo Subianto, ahead in West Java (West Java) and East Java (East Java). According to him, this result is a good thing in early 2023.
"We are grateful for the results of the survey as a good start to welcoming 2023 as a political year," said Habiburokhman in his statement, Saturday, January 14.
Habiburokhman assessed that the survey results also violated the assumption that Prabowo's voters in the 2019 Election moved to other candidates.
According to him, the assumptions made by other survey institutions have now been refuted.
"The assumption of Pak Prabowo's 2019 voter migration to other candidates seems to have been refuted," said the member of Commission III of the DPR.
The Gerindra legislator also claimed that the results of the same survey even occurred in his electoral district, East Jakarta.
Habiburokhman revealed that Prabowo's voters in the 2019 Election will still elect the defense minister in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
"Almost every night I go around greeting residents, 2019 voters are still loyal because they see Pak Prabowo's extraordinary brilliant performance in the cabinet. So, the choice of a coalition with the Jokowi Government is considered to bring benefits," he said.
He ensured that all Gerindra cadres would continue to work all out to serve the community without being left behind by the survey results.
"Despite the results of Pak Prabowo's survey, which continues to improve," he said.
It is known, in the latest survey by the National Survey Institute (LSN) stated that Prabowo was superior in West Java, Banten, and East Java.
Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo won in Central Java, while Anies Baswedan won the top in DKI Jakarta.
LSN noted that 58.4 percent of respondents in West Java admitted that they would vote for Prabowo in the three presidential candidates simulation.
Meanwhile, Anies was only chosen by 24.8 percent of respondents.
Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo was only supported by 13.2 percent of respondents. The remaining 3.6 percent do not have a choice (undecident).
Meanwhile in East Java, as many as 42.1 percent of respondents said they would choose Prabowo.
It is slightly different from Ganjar, who was chosen by 41.9 percent of respondents. Meanwhile, Anies was chosen by 13.5 percent of the respondents, and the rest did not have a choice (undecident).
Previously, the Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) survey found that there was a shift in support from Prabowo Subianto's voters to Anies Baswedan.
In the results of a survey conducted in December 2022, of the 44.5 percent of Prabowo-Sandiaga voters in 2019, 44 percent of them now vote for Anies, 13 percent vote for Ganjar, and 37 percent vote for Prabowo. Meanwhile, there are still 6 percent who have not answered.
"In the past, you chose who, right? Prabowo-Sandiaga Uno is the partner. Okay, he chose 44.5 percent who claimed to choose that. Of the 44.5 percent, where is this distributed now? That's less than what Anies chose. What does that mean? Prabowo's voters had already moved to Anies. Most of them moved to Anies, to Ganjar is not too significant," said the founder of SMRC, Saiful Mujani, on the SMRC TV Youtube channel, Thursday, January 12.
