Attend The 50th Anniversary Of PDIP Using Modern Batik, Jokowi Was Immediately Greeted By Megawati

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) attended the PDIP 50th Anniversary commemoration at JiExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, January 10.

According to VOI monitoring, Jokowi, who was wearing a modern black batik, arrived at around 08.50 WIB. His arrival was greeted directly by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Besides Jokowi, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin was also present at the event. After having time to talk in a room, Jokowi with Megawati and Ma'ruf Amin headed to the stage of the event.

While walking, the three of them were flanked by PDIP DPP Chairs Puan Maharani and Prananda Prabowo. Arriving at the stage of the event on the outside of JiExpo Kemayoran, they were greeted by a convoy of drums singing national songs.

Not only that, Jokowi and Ma'ruf Amin were also treated to the appearance of the parachuting action carried out by five professional youths. Among them were those who carried the red and white flag and PDIP flag.

On that stage, a number of ministers were also present in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. They include Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, MenPAN RB Azwar Anas, and Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono.

Next, also the regional head from PDIP was present. They include the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo.

Regarding this event, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto apologized and understood the public if it was affected by the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the PDIP. This event was held at JiExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta today, Tuesday, January 10.

"Please understand if during this celebration there is traffic jams around the location," Hasto told reporters, Tuesday, January 10.

In this event, PDIP took the theme 'Group Hand of Unity with the Mutual Soul and the Spirit of the Fire of Struggle Nan Tak Kunjung Padam' with the 'Indonesian Unity for Indonesia Raya' subthem. This 50th Anniversary celebration is also part of the party's consolidation to win the 2024 General Election.
