A man in Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture called the police. The 50-year-old man admitted to being stabbed by foreigners on December 20.

What happened, the man even stabbed himself to make it look like someone was trying to kill him.

Quoted from Japan Today, Wednesday, December 28, the man who is an employee of the company admitted that he was walking along the road at around 1:20 a.m. on December 20. He called the police and said he had been stabbed in the back.

However, the road surveillance camera footage from the crime scene did not show anyone approaching the man.

The man, who is currently in hospital, was interrogated by police on Monday and claimed to have stabbed himself.

He admitted that he deliberately put the knife on the wall and leaned forcibly back. To the police, he admitted that he did it because he was tired of work.

Police said that after the man recovered from the injuries he sustained, he would be charged with disturbing police in carrying out their duties.
