JAKARTA - Witness Yuslianti admitted that she had transferred Rp250 million to Unila.

"I only sent Rp250 million for the construction factor according to the Unila website," said witness Yuslianti in response to the KPK prosecutor team at the Tanjungkarang Corruption Court, Bandarlampung, in a follow-up hearing in the bribery case for accepting new students at the University of Lampung, Wednesday, December 14.

He also admitted that he had entrusted his son to the defendant Andi Desfiandi to be monitored or monitored.

"I asked my son to monitor it because I know this medical faculty competition is very tight," he said.

Witness Yuslianti, in her statement at the trial, also conveyed to the defendant Andi Desfiandi that his biological child was named Zalva, who was an batch of 2022.

"I have also sent my son's registration number to Andi," he said as quoted by Antara.

The Public Prosecutor's Team from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) presented five witnesses in the bribery case for accepting new students at Unila with the defendant Andi Desfiandi.

The five witnesses who attended were Muhammad Basri as Chair of the Unila Senate, Lis as Head of the Division of PT Bank Lampung who is also the parents of students, Agus Faisal Asiha as Lecturer of UIN Radin Intan, Fajar Riadi, and Helmi Yusuf.

Andi Desfiandi became a defendant in the alleged bribery case against the Unila Chancellor (non-active) Prof. Dr. Karomani in accepting new students at Unila in 2022.

In this case, the KPK has named four suspects consisting of three as recipients of bribes, namely Karomani, Deputy Chancellor I for Academic Affairs Unila Heryandi and Senate Chairperson Unila Muhammad Basri.

Meanwhile, the suspect who gave the bribe was the private sector, namely Andi Desfiandi, who is currently a defendant and is still undergoing trial.
