JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, appointed Acting Governor of Southwest Papua Province Muhammad Musa'ad after the inauguration of the 38th province.

"The appointment of the office has gone through a process according to the regulations, namely the proposed mechanism and the final assessment team which is directly led by the president", said Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, December 9.

Then, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian asked the acting governor to carry out the mandate preferably by the oath of office and trust that had been given.

"Acting Governor, Mr. Muhammad Musa'ad, we ask for the trust given by God the Almighty and for the trust of the president's state leadership in you so that you can make the best use of it and wholly and sincerely", he said.

Of course, according to the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, this is an effort and enthusiasm to accelerate development in Southwest Papua Province.

"Please really maintain political stability and security there, embrace all parties, especially Forkopimda (Regional Leadership Coordination Forum), all figures, both formal and informal figures, fellow regents, mayors, DPRD, including also having good relations with the mother of West Papua at all levels. said the Minister of Home Affairs.

The Minister of Home Affairs hopes that Muhammad Musa'ad will move quickly after the inauguration to determine the officials under him, starting from the regional secretary, service heads, and other officials, especially the BPKAD.

"There has been a team from the Ministry that has previously moved to prepare (the administration of Southwest Papua Province administration), working with regional heads, mayors, and regents who are covered in Southwest Papua", he said.
