Entered The Forest Check Field, 65 Years Old Grandpa In Southeast Sulawesi Lost

The Kendari Basarnas conducted a search for a 65-year-old man who was reported missing in the forest of Alioka, Lalonggaluku District, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra).

"There has been a dangerous condition for humans against one person who went missing in the forest of Alioka, Konawe," said Head of the Kendari Basarnas Aris Sofingi in Kendari, quoted from Antara, Sunday, November 20.

He said the man named Muhammad Amin had been reported missing by the victim's younger brother since Saturday 19 November, at around 16.00 WITA.

Aris said that after receiving a report from the rescue team from the Kendari Search and Rescue Office (KPP), it was dispatched.

"The Kendari KPP rescue team was dispatched to the LKP using a rescue car (saving car) and other safety support equipment. The distance is about 17 km from the Kendari KPP," he said.

Aris explained, previously on Saturday 19 November 2022 at around 08.00 WITA the victim and his family reportedly entered the Alioka forest to check the fields belonging to their parents.

However, while on his way to the location, the victim was unconsciously separated from the group. The family realized this when the victim's family arrived at the location of the garden in question at around 16.00 WITA.

"The search has been carried out by the family and until this information is reported with no results. Thus, we will convey further developments," said Aris.
