BMKG Predicts Rains In Samarinda, Makassar, Yogyakarta To Jayapura Today

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that Samarinda, Makassar, Yogyakarta, Jayapura, and a number of major cities in Indonesia will experience rain with various intensities today, Monday 14 November.

Citing the BMKG website, rain with light intensity has the potential to occur during the day in the cities of Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Serang, Jakarta, Gorontalo, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Tanjung Pinang, Ambon, Ternate, Kupang, Jayapura City, Manokwari, Pekanbaru, Mamuju, Kendari, and Manado.

Moderate rain is expected in Surabaya, Pontianak, Mataram, and Medan during the day.

Then for cities that are predicted to experience heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder are Yogyakarta, Bandung, Pangkal Pinang, Bandar Lampung, and Padang.

As for other weather during the day, cloudy weather will be present in Bengkulu, Semarang, Tarakan, and Palembang.

Only Jambi City will experience cloudy sunny weather during the day.

Entering the night, light rain has the potential to occur in Banda Aceh, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Surabaya, Pontianak, Jambi, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Samarinda, Tarakan, Bandar Lampung, Ternate, Jayapura City, Mamuju, Makassar, and Manado.

Meanwhile, moderate-intensity rain will occur in Bengkulu, Semarang, and Medan.

Only Padang will experience heavy rain with lightning and thunder.

BMKG said that the average temperature today would be between 18-33 degrees Celsius. Then the humidity level is 55-100 percent.
