Based on previous reports, the hospital ship belonging to the People's Liberation Army of the Peace Ark departed from Zhejiang Province since Wednesday last week arrived at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, last Thursday. The arrival of the Peace Ark ship was welcomed by the Indonesian Navy, representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, businessmen, communities and citizens of Chinese descent in Indonesia. The Peace Ark ship, which stopped in Indonesia for November 10-18, plans to provide health services to Indonesian citizens and Chinese-derived citizens in Indonesia. This is the 10th humanitarian mission of the Peace Ark abroad after previously making a visit to Indonesia in 2013. Peace Ark is a hospital ship designed and built by China. The ship is equipped with advanced medical equipment capable of diagnosis and maintenance, as well as regular operations. So far, the Peace Ark ship has carried out nine series of "Mission Harmony" by visiting 43 countries and territories, including Indonesia in 2013. The Peace Ark ship has provided humanitarian medical services to more than 230,000 people, treated 500 catatric patients, and treated more than 1,400 operations during its mission.
