RIAU - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri), Muhammad Tito Karnavian appreciated the Governor of Riau Syamsuar who was considered capable of 'lethargic' inflation. It is proven that the economy in the province grew 4.6 percent. Minister of Home Affairs Tito said, in the eyes of the Central Government, Riau Province is a productive and conducive province and this can be seen through Riau's fairly good economic growth. On that occasion, Gubri Syamsuar expressed his gratitude for the visit and direction of the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian. "Riau's economy has grown positively. Investment in Riau is also positive. This is thanks to our collaboration with the Regents/Mayors throughout Riau Province," he said. This good cooperation, he said, could at the same time reduce Riau's open unemployment rate from six percent, now it is 4.30 percent. This includes reducing Riau's poverty rate. On this occasion, the Minister of Home Affairs accompanied by Gubri handed over an evaluation award for the performance of the Riau Province level sub-district in 2022. The first winner of the evaluation of the performance of the Riau Provincial Level District in 2022 was won by Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency with a coaching fee of Rp. 100 million. Furthermore, the second place was won by Kandis District, Siak Regency with a coaching fee of IDR 75 million, and the third place was won by Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City and received coaching money of IDR 50 million.
