Garut Residents Can Now Receive Maximum Treatment Due To Cancer At The Sayang Hospital, No Need To Go Far Outside The City

CIANJUR - Cancer patients in Cianjur, West Java, have been able to undergo treatment, treatment and chemotherapy at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Sayang Cianjur Regency. The presence of this hospital is so that people do not need to undergo treatment outside the city at the expense that can be overcome by BPJS health. The President Director of the Cianjur Hospital, Dr. Dharmawan Setiabudhi Dahlan, said that from January to October 2022, around 1,285 cancer patients underwent treatment and chemotherapy at the local government's hospital and were served by doctors who were already experts in their fields. "We already have facilities for treating cancer patients coupled with medical personnel who are competent in their fields, and even receive the best title in Indonesia. This cancer special service is a maximum health service effort for Cianjur residents," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Monday, October 31. So far, he said, patients with cancer have had to undergo treatment in hospitals outside the city such as Bandung and Jakarta, but since the last year it has been enough to go to the Sayang Hospital which has the "Someah" Santun program, Senyum, Optimist, Respectful, Educative, Andalan and Humanist. The existence of the special cancer service center, he added, can ease the burden on patients and their families compared to treatment outside the city, in accordance with the work programs of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Cianjur, providing maximum health services for Cianjur residents. "Through the Someah program, it is hoped that residents who seek treatment at the Sayang Hospital will get the comfort and satisfaction of the services provided. Through the improvement of services, it is hoped that it will be able to motivate residents who come for treatment to recover quickly," he said. Not only cancer services, he said, but RSUD Sayang also has therapy services for married couples who have not received children and special services for stroke patients by establishing a stroke center that has been running for the last three years. "We will continue to improve the quality and quantity as well as the quality of qualified health workers, next year the Cianjur Hospital will have a new specialist who previously did not exist so that service improvements for residents are more excellent," he said.
