Intel Launches Latest Edge AI Solutions, Facilitates AI Application In Share Sectors

JAKARTA - Intel launched new Intel AI Edge Systems, Edge AI Suites and Open Edge Platform initiatives, designed to help simplify and accelerate AI adoption at edges across various industries.

Although each industry has different challenges and needs, Intel's edge solution is able to maintain existing platforms and software, while integrating AI, to get the best total cost of ownership (TCO) of power efficiency.

Unlike large data centers with specialized AI infrastructure, the implementation of AI in edges must be smoothly integrated into existing IT systems, in space-limited environments, low power supply, and cost-sensitive.

"With decades of experience in the edge sector, we bring our AI edge offerings one step ahead with Intel AI Edge Systems, Edge AI Suites, and Open Edge Platform to accelerate the delivery of AI-ready solutions across the ecosystem." said Dan Rodriguez, Intel corporate vice president and general manager, Edge Computing Group.

Rodriguez also claims that an open edge approach allows Intel to consistently provide better end-to-end performance and TCO in various major industries.

Intel AI Edge Systems: Intel's edge system accelerates the implementation of AI in edges. This resource allows customers and solution providers to easily configure the system to meet the performance needs of use cases such as viewing AI or generative AI (GenAI).

Edge AI Suites: Edge AI Suites is a kit that serves to simplify the creation of dedicated AI solutions for various industries by providing curated reference applications, sample codes, and benchmarks to accelerate application development.

Open Edge Platform: Open Edge Platform is a modular open source platform, which simplifies the development, implementation and management of edge and AI applications on a large scale.
