ACEH - Aceh Jaya Regency Disaster Management Agency (BPBK) asked people passing through mountainous areas to be careful following the landslide that occurred in Gunong Cincrang, Sawang Village, Setia Bakti District, Thursday, October 20 at around 14.25 WIB. "Landslides in the Gunong Cincrang area cover part of the road and now the team has handled it," explained Head of Aceh Jaya BPBK, Fajri, quoted from Antara. The landslide has been handled and has been cleaned by a joint team from the Setia Bakti Police and the Aceh Jaya Police Traffic Unit and the local Posramil. "Alhamdulillah, it has been handled and can be passed back by passers from both the Calang-Banda Aceh direction and vice versa. This area is indeed very common landslides, especially in the rainy season like today," he said. He hopes that road users will always be careful when crossing the mountainous area, especially in the Aceh Jaya area, where landslides and fallen trees have occurred very often. Fajri also said that currently the Aceh Jaya area, especially in the rainy season, is also increasing awareness of floods and landslides. "We also remind residents to be able to clean culverts and water flows so that floods and inundation do not occur during the rainy season like this," said Kalak. His party also continues to appeal to people in disaster-prone locations to be prepared for disasters that can occur at any time in an effort to minimize the loss of life from these natural disasters.
