Qatar Airways Achieving Best Seventh Title In The World, Asian Airlines Domination Of The Top 10 'Oscar' Awards For 2022 Flights

JAKARTA - The airline Qatar Airways is again the best in the world in 2022 or for the seventh time, outperforming airlines from Europe to America with Asian airlines dominating the top 10.

Qatar Airways was selected as the 'World's Best Airline' in the 2022 World Airline Awards announced last September 23. Known as the 'Oscar of the aviation industry', this is run by UK-based Skytrax consultants, with all awards based on a survey of global customer satisfaction.

"Qatar Airways is the largest airline to fly consistently during the COVID-19 pandemic, with their network never falling below 30 goals, and that determination has clearly been well recognized by customers with this award," said Edward Plaisted of Skytrax.

Meanwhile, Qatar CEO Airways Akbar Al Baker, praised his employees, for their dedication and services, to ensure that every passenger gets the best experience.

"To be named the World's Best Airlines has always been the destination when Qatar Airways was created, but to win it for the seventh time and taking three additional awards is proof of all the hard work of our outstanding employees," he said.

"Winning this award in the same year as we celebrated our 25th anniversary, which is even more valuable and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our passengers who chose us," he said.

In addition to the best airline, Qatar Airways also won the World's Best Business Class title, World's Best Business Class Lounge Dining and Best Airline in the Middle East title in this year's event.

Citing Asian Aviation, this year's assessment was followed by more than 350 airlines including survey sites. Singapore Airlines ranks second in the world, with Emirates third, ANA All Nippon Airways fourth and Qantas Airways completing the top five positions in the world best airlines this year.

Overall, Asian airlines dominate the list of the top 10 best airlines in the world by 2022. In fact, when the ranking list expanded to the top 20, airlines from Asia still dominated.

In Asia, Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines are the most successful. In North America, the Delta Air Lines were successful in North America, winning six awards. In Europe, Turkish Airlines dominated, receiving four awards including the very competitive Best Airline in Europe title.
