Two villages in Ulakan Tapakih Sub-district were affected by the flood, namely Nagari Sandi Ulakan with 13 families affected, while in Nagari Kapuang Galapuang Ulakan the number of affected families reached 190 families.

Meanwhile, in Batang Anai Nagari Sub-district, the affected ones are Sungai Buluah Selatan with the number of families affected by the flood reaching 80 families.

In addition to submerging houses, he continued, dozens of hectares of rice fields, tens of hectares of agricultural land, dozens of units of fish ponds, several houses of worship, and several educational facilities were flooded.

"Although the flood has begun to recede, our team is still on standby", he said.

In addition to flooding, Padang Pariaman also experienced landslides that hit the road, disrupting the mobility of people in the area.

The locations of the landslides were Nagari Kudugantiang Barat and Nagari Gunung Padang Alai in District V Koto Timur.
