JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas asked regents who are members of the Association of Indonesian Regency Governments (Apkasi) to audit the accuracy of data in data collection for non-ASN personnel.

"For local governments, the appointment of PPPK as a consequence of the elimination of honorary workers will clearly burden the APBD, considering that this PPPK has salary standards and benefits that are almost the same as civil servants," he said.

He even thinks that the appointment of all honorary staff to become PPK is not the best solution because it has the potential to make the work ethic of honorary workers not good.

Therefore, Apkasi took the initiative to hold a coordination meeting with the Kemenpan RB and four other ministries, namely the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri); Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek); Ministry of Health (Kemenkes); and the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).
