Recorded On CCTV, A Scavenger In Cakung Steals Matic Motor, Owned By His Residents

JAKARTA The theft of a motorbike on Rawa Kuning Street RT 11/7, Gang Balita, Cakung, East Jakarta is suspected to have been carried out by a scavenger, Sunday, September 4. Jamaludin, Head of RT 11 at that location, said that before taking action the perpetrator had traveled to his area to monitor the situation and conditions.

"He was muddled when he went to the Balita alley, he had been to our area twice, because we were not at home, so we could only monitor it from CCTV," Jamaludin told reporters, Tuesday, September 6.

Jamaludin added that the perpetrator finally managed to rob a dead motorbike belonging to one of the residents by taking advantage of the situation where it was quiet at that time.

Jamal said that some of his residents had suspected the perpetrators' movements when crossing his area.

"If the original scavengers carry tools, he doesn't. He only uses sacks, I also have sacks, left with him," said Jamal.

Furthermore, he said that the victim had made a report to the Cakung Police by bringing evidence of sacks brought by the perpetrator and evidence of surveillance camera footage.

He also expects the perpetrator of his people's motorcycle can be arrested by Cakung Police.

"The victim has reported to the police and evidence of sacks since Monday," said Jamal.
