JAKARTA - Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission III Bambang Wuryanto ensured that the meeting of the House of Representatives Commission III with the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo today was open. This meeting is related to the murder case of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J with one of the suspects, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

"Tomorrow (Wednesday) the meeting with the National Police Chief will be open. Journalists can monitor directly on the balcony of Commission III of the DPR," said Bambang Wuryanto at the DPR building, Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 23 night.

Bambang ensured that the meeting was open because Commission III of the House of Representatives wanted to thoroughly investigate the shooting case of Brigadier J at the official residence of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

According to him, each member of Commission III of the DPR will ask questions to explore the case of Brigadier J's death so that the case becomes clear and nothing is covered up.

"Tomorrow the public can see members of Commission III of the DPR asking questions in a meeting with the National Police Chief," he said.

Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Adies Kadir explained that the meeting with the National Police Chief would focus more on the development of handling the case of Brigadier J's death, where there are currently five suspects.

According to him, the summons of the National Police Chief and his staff are in the context of the task of supervising the House of Representatives Commission III of the National Police institution, particularly in relation to institutional elements suspected of being involved in the case of Brigadier J.

"We are not familiar with the term Sambo empire. However, this is a Polri institution that is a working partner of Commission III of the DPR. We as a supervisor of Polri's performance will ask questions related to the elements circulating in the community," he said.

Adies said Commission III of the DPR had summoned the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), Komnas HAM, and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) to explore information related to the case of Brigadier J.

According to him, the results of the deepening of Commission III of the DPR with the three institutions will be asked to the National Police Chief and his staff in a meeting on Wednesday (24/8).
