JAKARTA - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, took a selfie with the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto and the General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri. This moment occurred in the middle of the celebration of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace.

Through an upload on the Instagram account @puanmaharaniri, the chairman of the PDIP DPP appears to be wearing a red kebaya and scarf on his shoulders. He stood in front of Prabowo who was wearing a white shirt.

Besides Prabowo, Megawati Soekarnoputri, the PDIP General Chairperson, was also seen. The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia seemed to be on Prabowo's side.

Megawati was seen wearing a white kebaya. She also appears to be wearing a red scarf.

In the upload, Puan said that the atmosphere of August 17 was always filled with happiness and excitement.

Not only that, he also congratulated Prabowo Subianto who had just received four honorary stars on Monday, August 15.

Prabowo is known to have received four honorary stars that were pinned by the TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa and three chiefs of staff for the force.

The four honorary stars awarded to Prabowo are the Bintang Yudha Dharma Utama awarded to Prabowo by the TNI Commander, the Bintang Kartika Eka Paksi Utama awarded by the Army Chief of Staff, the Bintang Jalasena Utama awarded by the KSAL, and the Bintang Swa Bhuwana Paksa Utama awarded by the KSAU.
