SERANG - Serang City Police Sector personnel managed to thwart dozens of teenagers who wanted to do a brawl on the side of the train road, precisely in the Lopang Cilik neighborhood, Lopang Village, Serang District, Serang City, Sunday, August 7, at 03:30 WIB.

The Head of Serang Police, Commissioner Adjutant (AKP) Edi Susanto, said that his party had managed to secure nine teenagers who were about to engage in a brawl following a giant sickle.

"Nine teenagers were successfully secured by Patrol Personnel of the Serang Police Sector Polresta Serang City, three of the nine teenagers carried sharp weapons of the type of sickle, nine teenagers who were arrested, MI (16), NK (16), AM (17), RR (17), AA (18), MR (14), DA (15), FF (15), HY (15),” he explained.

Edi also said that Serang Police personnel were on night patrol when they became suspicious when they saw a group of teenagers. It didn't take long for them to immediately check on the students.

"The Serang Police personnel patrolling at night felt suspicious when they saw a group of teenagers, then the personnel carried out an examination and found a sharp weapon of the type of sickle," added Edi.

Edi said that the teenagers were still in high school in Serang City.

"Nine teenagers who are still in junior high school and vocational school in Serang City were taken by the Serang Police Sector for inquiries," he said again.

From the results of the examination by Serang Police personnel, it was known that the teenager was part of a community that was going to do a brawl.

"From the examination, a group of teenagers are members of the Be The Scen's 018 community and will fight together with the Kampung_dalem.432 community, where the teenagers challenge each other through Instagram social media," he explained.
