JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD said that three suspects had been named in the case of the death of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.

"There are already three suspects, it can develop and the articles are 338, 340, premeditated murder," Mahfud said when met at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 8.

Investigators have released the determination of two suspects, namely Bhayangkara Dua Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu or Bharada E under the suspicion of Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

Then the second suspect, Brigadier Ricky Rizal or Brigadier RR, was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder) in conjunction with Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

Bharada E and Brigadier RR were drivers and aide to Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Chandrawathi.

Mahfud believes that the determination of the suspect will lead to the role of Bharada E and Brigadier RR, as well as other suspects as suspected executioners or intellectuals.

According to him, the investigation into the alleged premeditated murder case against Brigadier J is considered fast, considering that the case has a code of silence.

"The development is actually fast, cases like that which have a 'code of silence' are now suspects, then high-ranking officials have gone 'bedol deso'. "said Mahfud.

The former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court also assessed that the scenario of Brigadier J's death had begun to be revealed thanks to the support of escorts from the media and a number of non-governmental organizations (Non-Governmental Organizations).

If there is no case escort from a number of parties, Brigadier J's case has the potential to become a "dark number case" or a case whose perpetrators are not revealed.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andianto, stated that a special team (timsus) would present the results of the investigation into the case of Brigadier J's murder, including the suspects behind it.

The statement was made in response to a statement from the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD who said that there were already three suspects in the premeditated murder case.
